AI Driven video content
I will often use AI in my work for efficiency. This particular video showcases how AI can be used in tandem with solid video production skills, to make an engaging video with a quick turnaround.

Two choices
This client wanted a super engaging video, but wasn’t sure which approach they wanted to go with stylistically. I was asked to explore two options, and then a choice would be made based on those designs.
Option 1
Character Animation: All assets are bespoke illustrations.
Option 2
Collage style: All assets are stock images that are composited to evoke a “collage style”.

After reviewing the style frames, the client decided to move forward with Option 2.
Where does AI come in?
Stock image websites are great, and I like to use real photography when I can, but for the video, our character “Mike” needed to be doing some very specific things, while maintaining character consistency. That’s where Midjourney and ChatGPT come in.
Storyboards
With AI, there was no need to scour the internet for hours looking for the perfect stock images. I could fully focus on creating bold, fun boards and engaging motion.
